The difference that training makes

All through our lives we never stop learning.

In a work-based situation what you learn helps you to get on

– to get a job in the first place, and then to be promoted and earn more money.

There are many reasons why training could benefit you and help you to get on.

Did you leave school without enough qualifications?

You might want to consider doing an Apprenticeship, or day release, or some kind of less formal classroom based training. You can learn at your own pace, in a different environment to school, starting from a level that suits you.

Are you returning to work?

You might have had a career break, after childcare or a spell of unemployment. Getting back into training will brush up your skills and get you back in touch – and show employers that you have ambition, or you could even start a business of your own!

Do you want a better career?

Have you been doing a job that no longer interests you, and you want a change of direction – or a challenge! You can return to training full or part time to eventually change career. Often your current employer will provide training to help you to progress through the ranks of your own company - if you like working there but no longer enjoy your particular role!

Through the Wyred Up website you'll find lots of information to help you to think about your different options

- and then find out how to change your life!
