The Wyred Up quarterly networking event on 7th September.
Held at fleetwood town Football club, it was another well attended event – with attendees reaching well in excess of 130 companies.
‘It has been yet another brilliant event with plenty of business opportunity’ said Jane Littlewood, Chair of the group. ‘Speakers included Dave Riche from Fleetwood Town football club welcomed the businesses to their new stand and gave a breakdown of what the fottball club can offer to local businesses, Hugh Roberts from the Lancashire Innovation Network spoke about how they help businesses turn ideas into reality and an end product. Cecil edey from Orvia let the businesses know how they help new start up businesses in Wyre and the followup help they offer. Angel Cartmel from Positive Steps talked about how they help people back into work Positive steps is run by Blackpool council but they have money to spend in Wyre with wyre businesses too.
There were several three minute business pitches too.
Ther was plenty of opportunity to network with other businesses and Twelve Restaurant provided the wonderful buffet.
