Work Experience Placements

How students are allocated work experience placements has recently changed and school age pupils are now required to find their own provider.

This is good news because students will now be working with companies that they choose, therefore they will be more interested, engaged and likely to learn more and be a help in your business while they are there.

To help the students to get their hands on local opportunities, Wyred Up would like to draw up a list of businesses who are willing to take placements, and this list will be available here for students to see what opportunities are available to them.

If you would like to include your business on this list then please email Julie Barlow in Economic Development at Wyre Borough Council on julie.barlow@wyre.gov.uk.

Who knows, you could find your employees of tomorrow!
