If you are aged 16-18 and not already working, studying or on a training course, this might be the option for you!

 

A Pre-Apprenticeship Programme is an ideal starting place which will give you the skills and knowledge you need to apply for a full apprenticeship and ultimately get a job.

 

These programmes are available from a number of different training companies and providers. Wyred Up will give you the information to find one which best suits you and your personal circumstances.

 

 

Future Horizons is a pre apprenticeship programme from Lancashire County Council

- aimed at 16 – 18 year olds not in education, training or employment.

 

You'll spend 20 weeks on the programme – 12 weeks gaining employability skills and a range of qualifications and then spend 2 months gaining valuable hands on work experience.
