The Wyre Strategic Partnership, which in the past has organised the Residents’ Forums, is presently undergoing a restructure and in the future will no longer have the capacity to arrange these meetings. Attendance of the quarterly meetings has fallen significantly in the past year and the focus has shifted towards information giving by public bodies instead of getting things done. One off meetings to discuss specific issues will still be held and I would hope the forums will still continue where local residents want to take ownership.
